Morgan and Maysville advance to District Finals

Zanesville, OH — Tri-Valley, Morgan, and Maysville all competed in the District Semi-finals Wednesday night. Two of those teams prevailed.

Kaylie Apperson hit a late three pointer and the Lady Raiders made enough free throws to defeat Tusky Valley 44-40. Morgan advances to the District finals against Bellaire on Saturday at 2pm at Meadowbrook High School.

Maysville needed overtime last weekend, but not against Minerva. The Lady Panthers defeated the Lady Lions 58-46. Maysville plays New Philly on Saturday at 2pm at Coshocton High School in the District finals.

Tri-Valley was not as fortunate. The Lady Dawgs took Westerville South right down to the buzzer, but fell short 56-54, bringing their season to an end.
