Princess Party at the Colony Square Mall

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Families didn’t need to travel all the way to Disney World to see their favorite princesses they just had to travel to the Colony Square Mall.
The Muskingum Youth Performing Arts bring in princesses from far far away to spend time and have a laugh or two with kids like Isabella Taylor. She said meeting Elsa was a wish come true.
“I’m excited to meat Elsa, because shes the Queen of snow. I wish I can make snow.”
This annual event is one of its biggest fundraisers of the year. Artistic Director Whitney Lewis say this even not only brings joy to families but also offsets some of the cost for the theaters production of the Nutcracker.
“All the money goes toward our nutcracker production. We use that to update our sets to bring in professional guest artist and to update our costumes as well.”
You can see the Nutcracker live at Secrest Auditorium during Thanksgiving week.
