Newark Man Arraigned on Attempted Murder Charges
A Newark man accused of shooting his sister-in-law outside a Wal-mart last month is now in police custody.
According to Licking County court documents, 27-year-old Gregory McCualsky appeared in court Friday for an arraignment hearing where his bond was set at $250,000.
He’s being charged with one felony count of attempted murder.
Records show he was arrested Thursday in Cincinnati by Newark Police Detectives, the FBI and Cincinnati Police.
McCualsky had been on the run since October 20th after being wanted by police for the shooting of 21-year-old Nitaleen McCualsky of Granville. She suffered a single gun shot wound to her right side.
Gregory McCualsky’s case will now go to the Licking County Grand Jury.
