Armed Robbery at Rally’s in Zanesville

Zanesville Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Rally’s on Maple Avenue.
 

Detective Sgt. Ric Roush says a male employee was exiting a side door Tuesday  morning when he was approached by an individual armed with a handgun.
 

Roush says the suspect demanded the store’s money and then fled on foot.
 

No one was injured during the incident.
 

The suspect was described only as a white male wearing dark clothing with a bandana covering his face.
