Arrest Made in Fatal Hit/Run Accident in Coshocton

Authorities in Coshocton County  have arrested a man in connection with a fatal hit and run accident.
 

Sheriff Tim Rogers says 24-year-old Dustin James Carroll of Coshocton is being charged with a 3rd degree felony  of leaving the scene of an accident.
 

Authorities say 26-year-old Michael McFadden of Coshocton was walking near the intersection of South 3rd and Elm Streets Saturday morning when he was struck by a vehicle.
 

McFadden was taken to Coshocton County Memorial Hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.

Carroll appeared  Tuesday in Coshocton Municipal Court  where his bond was set at $100,000.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday December 8th at 11:30 a.m.

The incident remains under investigation and other charges could be pending after review by a grand jury.
