The Blue Devils were entering Tuesday night’s game, guarding against a letdown. There was one, but it wasn’t Zanesville’s. The Blue Devils defeat Canal Winchester 52-28, holding the Indians to the lowest point total of any Zanesville opponent this year. Fresh off the emotional and physical victory over Massillon Jackson, coach Scott Aronhalt was trying to prevent his players from coming out flat. It didn’t happen. Zanesville jumped out to a 12-0 lead, and didn’t look back. Rian Burrell leading all scorers with 12 points. Kade Haddox had a season high 11 points, Christian Meyers 10 points, also a season high. Cole Carpenter had 10 points and 8 rebounds as well. Zanesville improves to 10-2 on the year, their next game is at home Saturday night against East Liverpool.
