Crafters Keep You Warm

Football jerseys were not just worn by fans today, they are also on sale at the monthly craft and collectibles show in the colony square mall.

Beyond jerseys collectibles include cards and hats. Crafters sell beanie babies, t-shirts, beer stines and blankets. Marty Madinger participates in the show each month. Her speciality is fleece blankets and memory buckets.

"It was a stress reliever to start with I began to do it as kind of an out with my job . I just enjoyed doing it and it has since grown and I love it even more" explains Marty Madinger, Creator of Blankets and Buckets.
 

While January is a slow month for the show, the holiday season left crafters with good sales. Next month, the event falls on valentines day weekend and crafters hope this will give them another good month.

"With the blankets right now and the coldness it’s a good time to get it" said Madinger.

The show is located just outside Sears in the colony square mall.
