State of the Union Opinion

Tomorrow night Obama will address the country through the State of the Union Address. 

According to the Associated Press, jobs is expected to be a large focus. The large American debt and bringing it down will also be a talking point. Investment topics will be how to make American companies more competitive and education. People in Zanesville had an opinion on what will come from the address and the state of the economy.

"It’s a depression. I grew up in the depression I know what they are; that’s what it is they just don’t tell you everything" said Burt Beardsley.
 

Economists though say economic recovery is getting stronger in the US. and more firms are discussing hiring. Geroge Zwahlen of Zanesville does not agree.
 

"Going down hill that’s for sure. America better wise up " said Zwahlen.

Economists surveyed though say they are hopeful about economic growth in 2011.
