Junction City Man Faces Vandalizing Charges

Junction City Police says one adult and two juveniles did some major vandalism to the small village. Chief Amy English says 18-year-old Robert Canter of Junction City is facing 36 counts of criminal damaging and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor after spray painting buildings, vehicles and signs in the village Saturday evening. English says profanity was painted on the back of the elementary school and playground. Canter, who is in the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail, was arraigned Thursday in Perry County Court and pleaded not guilty. His bond has been set at 10-thousand dollars. Chief English says more charges are pending against Canter.
