Man Pleads to 20 Charges in Burglaries

Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Austin Mooney pled guilty to 20 charges.

Mooney admitted to numerous counts of breaking and entering, theft, possession of criminal tools and criminal damaging. According to the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office Mooney is responsible for break-ins at numerous concession stands in Muskingum and Perry counties.

Judge Cottrill ordered a pre-sentence investigation and continued Mooney’s bond.

Two co-defendents in the case Tammy Lewis and Robert Moore have already been sentenced to 22 months in prison for the crimes.
