Perry County Search Ends Man Found/Update

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office had to call in a dive team to help search for a possible drowning victim Wednesday morning.. Details are not complete, but we are told that deputies were chasing a man who they thought jumped into a creek to escape authorities.  But now deputies say the man was found safe away from the water.  The search happened in the area of State Route 37 at Flagdale Road near Junction City.  Deputies say the search started after the man ran from authorities who were wondering why he was walking along the roadway.The incident remains under investigation.
