Model Train Show This Weekend

If you’re a model train enthusiast and want to see quite the display of trains, this weekend, downtown Zanesville has just the thing for you.

The Zane Trace National Trails Model Railroad Club is hosting a train show Saturday at the old Business Equipment building on 4th street.

"We’re here to let the public come up and see what we do on a weekly basis and it’s also to help generate a little bit of operating expenses so we can stay here," said Mike Spinks, ZTNT President.

The display represents the eastern portion of the United States railroad.

"West Virginia, southeastern Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, the Appalachian part of this region," said Spinks.

The show runs from noon to 5 Saturday and is one of two shows featured each year to the public.
