Convicted Murderer Sentenced in Guernsey County
A man found guilty of murdering another man at a Seneca Lake home appeared in court Wednesday morning.
Guernsey County Prosecutor Dan Padden say 36-year-old James Dunakowski went before Judge David Ellwood and was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole in 25 years for the January aggravated murder and robbery of Donald Kay.
Both charges contained gun specifications.
Police said that Kay was shot to death and his body discovered in Kay’s Seneca Lake home several days later.
Dunakowski has agreed to testify against his co-defendant 24-year-old Sara Willey of Buffalo.
She’s scheduled for a pretrial hearing on May 18th.
