Z-ville Man Enters Plea In Domestic Dispute Case

A Zanesville man charged with attempted murder in connection with a domestic dispute says he is not guilty. 43-year-old David Gibbs Jr. went before Muskingum County Common Pleas Judge Mark Fleegle and entered the not guilty plea to attempted murder and felonious assault charges. Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says on April 27th Gibbs shot his step-sister in the head in Wayne Township. Lutz says the bullet grazed 35-year-old Tonya Mcdonald’s head and she was treated and released from the hospital. Judge Fleegle continued Gibb’s bond at $250,000.
