Former TV Reporter Speaks in Zanesville

A former Cleveland TV news reporter made a stop in the y-city Thursday afternoon

Author and journalist Neil Zurcher spoke to community members at the John Mcintire Library about his experiences as a news reporter for more than 40 years. He says it was one of the greatest times of his life, and wanted to share it with others today.

"I got to travel, it was the greatest job in the world. I did a program called one tank trips where I got to travel through seven states and canada and Ohio of course and some of the weird things that have happened during those days. Some of the great stories when we were working in the news business," said Zurcher.

He shares many of his favorite stories in his new book Tales From The Road: Memoirs From A Lifetime of Ohio Travel, Television, and More which can be purchased at most book stores.
