Fund Set Up For Barn Fire Arson
A fund has been set up to help a McConnelsville man whose barn was burnt down, killing eight horses.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office ruled the the April 24th fire arson, and since then people nationwide have offered their assistance to owner Brent Whitehouse. WHIZ spoke with Whitehouse Friday, and he says he would like to thank everyone for their support and willingness to help.
Fiberglas Federal Credit Union in Newark has set up a reward and rebuilding fund for Whitehouse, which is being handeled by branch manager Luke Kellett. If you are interested in making a donation, you are asked to specify whether you are donating to the reward fund or rebuild fund. Whitehouse asks that you also include your name and address. He also says that any money left over in the fund will go to help anyone suffering from either animal or child cruelty. To make a donation you can send a check to 215 Deo Drive, Newark Ohio, 43055 or call Luke Kellett at 740-348-6250
