ZHS Class of 2011 Graduation Ceremony

A couple hundred Zanesville High School students can now officially call themselves alumni.

The Class of 2011 proudly walked across the stage Saturday evening carrying with them hopes and dreams of what their future will hold after high school. Zanesville High School Principal Mark Ulbrich says the class has been an outstanding group of talented, young, driven students.

"We have issued a challenge to them as the first graduating class of this new building. We want them to be like the class of 1955. The class of 1955 has a long standing tradition of being an outstanding class and has given back to this community for a long time," said Ulbrich.

We caught up with a few graduates and what they planned to pursue after graduation as well as what the past four years have meant for them.

"Exercise science. Undecided. We’re going to open our own gym together in about five years. It’s been a blast. It’s been a journey. A great time, blew by, went by so fast," said several 2011 graduates.
