More Info Released on Harrison Township Shooting

More information has been released on a shooting Wednesday night in Harrison Township.

Sheriff Matt Lutz says deputies were called to 660 Irish Ridge Road around 10:30 pm. Upon their arrival, they found 56-year-old Donald Mchenry dead in the front yard of his home.

"We have brought in two females that were at the house for questioning. They are related to Mr. Mchenry. We’re not prepared to release their relationship at this point," said Lutz.

Many witness statements have also been taken into consideration.

"Obviously, these investigations are just like anything else. When you start into them, you take one interview, that may lead you to three or four more, and when you do those three or four, it may lead to three of four more, so obviously the first 24 to 48 hours is pretty critical in these cases," said Lutz.

Lutz says the man was apparently shot but multiple weapons may have been used. The Sheriff’s office are awaiting autopsy results and lab reports before any further information will be released.
