Morgan County Woman Guilty Of Murder

A McConnelsville woman is found guilty in the death of a Morgan County man. After a day and a half of deliberation a jury found 38-year-old Stephanie Hoskinson guilty of aggravated murder, arson and robbery in the death of 49-year-old Rodney Spencer of McConnelsville. The murder took place in 2008. Morgan County Prosecutor Mark Howdyshell says he is pleased with the verdict and happy for the victim’s family. Two co-defendants, Christopher Boarder and Christopher Clark have already pleaded guilty in the case and are serving 18 years in prison. Hoskinson is accused of being invited into Spencer’s home on Dale Street and when a dispute broke out, Spencer was beaten unconscious and then his house was set on fire. Hoskinson now faces life in prison without chance for parole when she is sentenced.
