Morgan County Woman Sentenced To Life In Prison
A McConnelsville woman is sentenced to life in prison in Morgan County Common Pleas Court. Prosecutor Mark Howdyshell says 38-year-old Stephanie Hoskinson will also not be eligible for parole for 40 years. Hoskinson was found guilty last month of aggravated murder, murder, aggravated robbery and two counts of arson in connection with the death of 49-year-old Rodney Spencer, also of McConnelsville. Hoskinson was invited to Spencer’s home on Dale Street when a dispute broke out, Specer was beaten unconscious and then his house was set on fire. Two co-defendants Christopher Clark and Christopher Boarder pleaded guilty to murder and aggravated arson in 2010 and were sentenced to life in prison with no chance for parole for 18 years. Prosecutor Howdyshell says he is pleased with the outcome of the case and now the victim’s family can move on with their lives.
