New Health Center Opens In Zanesville

The Muskingum Valley Health Centers New Zanesville facility is open for business. Chief Executive Officer Dan Atkinson says it’s a one-top location for patient’s primary care needs – from well checks and services when patients are ill, to prenatal care, dental services and podiatry. Atkinson says funding for construction was made possible through a federal Facility Investment Program grant which is part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The new health center is also in the process of finalizing implementation of new electronic health records that will help streamline and improve consistency of care for its patients. The facility is located on Adair Avenue.
