Muskingum OSU Ext. Office Secretary Retires

She’s been the face of the Muskingum County OSU Extension Office every time you walk in the door, and now, she’s retiring.

After 55 years of taking phone calls and scheduling appointments, OSU Extension Office Secretary Carolin Parks decided it was time to call it quits.

"This is a big day and it’s going to be different but I think I will adjust to it in time but I will miss the clientele we’ve had over the years but it will be good," said Parks.

Parks says she is very much looking forward to retirement but will miss the people she’s worked with over the years the most.

"When you’ve worked at a place and you’ve learned who they are and your co-workers as well. When you’re in a position of this kind, you will miss other county employees as well as your own people," added Parks.

Parks plans to spend much more time with her nieces and nephews. Wednesday was officially her last day.
