The Bishops continue their hot start with yet another shutout, this time the Black Bears are the victims. Rosecrans goalie Jaren Prater made three saves for his fourth shutout of the year, while Logan Lazar added his ninth and tenth goals of the season for the 2-0 margin. Bishops are now 6-0 on the year.

Morgan grabs their first win of the year, thanks in no small part to Andrew Barclay who netted four goals against the Muskies. The Raiders’ Cody Patterson added the fifth goal as the Raiders move to 1-4 on the year.

Scotties pick up a league win, one where they jumped out to a 3-0 start and held on for the 4-3 victory. Tri-Valley found the net twice off the foot of Chase Alfman, and once each thanks to Andrew mcGee and Ryan hetrick. Maysville had thier chances, and a solid two goal performance from Jacob Waltemire in the defeat

Thanks to injuries, the New Philadelphia Quakers couldn’t even field a JV team for this league contest, while the varsity team didn’t fare much better. The Lady Devils take their first ECOL win thanks to a hat trick off the foot Dani Weekley.

The Black Bears lay claim to thier first victory of the season with a straight set sweep of crosstown rival Coshocton. Andi Daugherty and Caley Conkling both had ten kills, while Jessie Gibson piled up 22 assists.

The Lady Dawgs stay perfect with a straight set win over the Ceramics. Pacing the Scotties was Rachel King with seven aces and 16 assists, while Jordyn Hendershot chipped in with two aces, eight kills and four digs. Crooksville suffers thier second loss of the year, but had a strong effort from Megan Dutro, who recorded seven kills, eight blocks and 14 digs.
