Wilma Pauline Cooper (September 2, 1920 – March 24, 2012)

Wilma Pauline Cooper, 91, of Zanesville, died at 2:20 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Forest View Healthcare Center. She was born September 2, 1920, in Guernsey County, a daughter of the late John Glen and Fannie Tollis Perry Ruby. She was a homemaker and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Byesville, Ohio. She enjoyed traveling, camping and spending time with her family.

Surviving are two sons, Earl (Ina) Ruby and Alan (Georgianna) Cooper, both of Zanesville; three daughters, Janet (Gary) Brenlish of Zanesville, Wilma (James) Roberts of Lapel, Indiana and Julie (Michael) Rice of Zanesville; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and all her good camping friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene M. Cooper, who died February 3, 1995; step-father, Earl T. Davis; grandson, Randy Brenlish; two brothers, Twin brother Paul Ruby and George Herbert Ruby; a sister, Margaret Cowden.

Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2012 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2012 with Rev. Reginald Martin officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Eugene at Woodlawn Cemetery, Zanesville.
