Larry G. Wion, 64, of Chandlersville, passed away at 1:50 pm Saturday, April 21, 2012 at his residence after a long battle with cancer.

Larry was born March 29, 1948 in Zanesville, the son of the late Harold W. and Kathryn (Leasure) Wion.

Larry worked for Cleveland Demolition and for the Ohio Ferro Alloy, he enjoyed spending time with his children and he served his country in the US Army.

Larry is survived by his wife Amy Wion whom he married June 17, 1999; his children Glen Wion of Chillicothe, Misty Wion of Crooksville, Jeremy (Rachel) of Chandlersville currently serving in US Army in HI, Jason Frontz of Chandlersville and Brandon (Amanda) Frontz of Roseville; his brothers Gary Wion of Chandlersville, Tim Wion of Columbus, Denny (Cindy) Wion of NE, PA, John (Yanina) Wion of AZ, Rick (Ida) Wion of Chandlersville and David Wion; his sisters Linda (Gene) Davis of Zanesville, Charlene Touvell of Zanesville, Kathy (Toby) Watters of Frazeysburg and Karen Wion of Eugene OR.

Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, Monday, April 23 2012 at the Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 2 pm with Pastor Marc Caton officiating. He will be laid to rest in Blue Rock Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors provided by George Selsam Post #1058.
