Man Pleads Not Guilty To Sex Crimes

A Zanesville man – already in prison – pleads not guilty for sex crimes involving children. The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office says 43-year-old David Gibbs is facing 18 charges including aggravated rape, gross sexual imposition and sexual battery involving four victims between four and 16 years old. Assistant Prosecutor Ron Welch says the incidents are alleged to have happened between 1994 and 2002. Gibbs is serving time after shooting his step sister in the head on April 27th at a home at 3900 Hemmers Lane.
