Students Talk About New Facebook Changes

Recent changes to Facebook have many up in arms complaining about the newly added features. Friday, we caught up with some OU-Z students to see how they feel about the changes.

"I just think that it is one of the most stupid ideas that they have ever had. The newsfeed has another newsfeed in it. It’s kind of confusing really and its distracting. I don’t even know how else to explain it. It’s stupid," said OU-Z Freshman Richard Feller.

"I like it but I also think it’s going to take some time adjusting to it because I was using the old format and now im adjusting to the new one so as soon as I adjust to the new one, they change it again, so it’s almost constant readjusting but overall I like it," said OU-Z Junior Kimberly Pepper.

"I like change but i think they’ve went over the top with it showing how in the top right corner how everything anyone is doing, you’re seeing it. I like seeing what my friends are doing granted there are some people on Facebook I have I might now know well like I’ve seen them around college so they add me as a friend and I accept it. Other than that, I just don’t really know them and i’m seeing everything they are doing and it’s just kind of like I don’t really care," said OU-Z Freshman Benjamin Davis.

But if you thought the changes were over, think again; more are on the way with a new Timeline feature similar to a scrapbook profile of yourself. No word on when that change will go into effect.
