Licking County Man Admits to Sex Crimes, Behind Bars

A Licking County man is behind bars after admitting to engaging in sexual contact with a juvenile victim.

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office says on September 11, a juvenile victim told authorities 55-year-old Timothy Specht had photographed her in the nude as well as engaged in sexual conduct with her on multiple occasions between 2004 and 2006 at Timothy’s residence.

On September 26th, detectives interviewed Specht and admitted in engaging in sexual contact with the victim.

Later that day, detectives conducted a search warrant at Specht’s residence where they recovered three laptop computers and other digital media which will be analyzed for its content.

The case will be heard by the Licking County Grand Jury October 7th.
