Clara Young (April 9, 1929 – April 11, 2014)

Clara Ellen Young, 85, of Zanesville, died at 8:20 P.M. Friday, April 11, 2014 at Adams Lane Care Center. She was born April 9, 1929 in Reader, WV., a daughter of the late Raymond and Lydia Lancaster Glasscock. She was a homemaker and attended New Hope Full Gospel Church.

Surviving are three sons; John (Pamela) Young of Zanesville, Michael Young of Heath and James (Darla) Young of Zanesville; seven grandchildren, Tony Young, Jennette ( Andre) Friederich, Kristyn Young, Alaina Young, Joseph (Casey) Young, Jaye Young and Jorden Young; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Bertie Rushman of Bellaire and a brother, James Glasscock of Kentucky.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Young Sr. and a brother, Paul Glasscock.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. till time of service at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, John at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
