Shirley Krouskoupf (March 2, 1935 – December 2, 2014)
Shirley I. Krouskoupf, 79, of South Zanesville, died at 6:35 P.M. on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 2, 1935, in Basil, a daughter of the late Raymond C. and Doris I. Raver Hiestand. She retired after 22 years with the Bethesda Hospital as an Admitting Specialist, and was a member of Tree of Life Christian Fellowship.
Surviving are her son, Jeff Delong of Zanesville; a daughter Cynthia Kessler of Zanesville; step-children, Conrad (Becky) Krouskoupf, Donald Krouskoupf Jr., and Jeffrey (Joyce) Krouskoupf, all of Zanesville; son-in-law James Brown of Zanesville; daughter-in-law Lisa Delong of Zanesville; numerous grandchildren; two great friends, Judy Thompson and Karen Myers; and her cat Missy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Krouskoupf; sons Randy, Russell, and Steve; a daughter Debbra Brown; five sisters, Eileen Hudnall, Carol Parker, Judy Taylor, Twila Barker, and Donna Ruckman; five brothers, Jerry, Ronald, Jack, Dale, and Clifford Hiestand; two granddaughters, Wendy Irene Johnson and Teleana Dawn Johnson.
Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 4, 2014, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, and from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, December 5, 2014. A private family burial will be held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Zanesville, at a later date.
