Marilyn Ann Metzger (August 9, 1928 – January 15, 2015)

Marilyn Ann Metzger, 86, of Zanesville, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care Morrison House. She was born August 9, 1928 at New Haven, West Virginia to the late Kenneth and Florence Grimm Yonker.
Marilyn was a homemaker and a wonderful mother to: William (Debbie) Metzger, Daniel Metzger of Zanesville, Michael Anthony (Julie) Metzger of Zanesville and Thomas Edwards of West Virginia. She also leaves behind four grandchildren: Kyle, Hannah, Rex and Brian and two great-grandchildren: Maya and Emma.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Francis Metzger who passed away in 1984, a twin sister Katherine Foraker and brothers: Paul Yonker, Terry Yonker and William Yonker.
Private family calling hours will be 1-2 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2015 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W. MILITARY RD. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Snouffer Chapel with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
