Ronald D. Smith (November 17, 1943 – June 13, 2015)

ZANESVILLE
Ronald D. (Bedbug) Smith, 71 of Zanesville, passed away June 13, 2015. He was born November 17, 1943 in Zanesville a son of the late James A. and Marie J. Mitchell Smith. He served his country and protected our freedom while serving in the United States Marine Corp and served two tours of duty in Vietnam and was retired from Heinrich Paper Co.
He is survived by his wife Irene (Creeks) Smith; one son Brent Smith and grandsons Case and Hank Smith. Grandsons he helped raise Ryan (Katie) Robinson and Jerrimia Smith; two sisters Marjorie Jenkins and Sharon Smith; one brother James Smith and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son Trent Smith; five brothers and two sisters.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 with funeral services at 8pm on Thursday June 18, 2015 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE with Rev. Doris Flynn officiating. Burial will take place in Wesley Union Cemetery at a later date.
