Some Dresden Residents To Lose Water Service

Some Dresden residents could lose water service for part of Tuesday. Superintendent Russ Davis says crews will be replacing a fire hydrant and that will mean no water service from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm. Davis says the affected areas will be on Chestnut Street north of 8th Street and most side streets north of 8th Street to State Route 60. Davis says when water service is restored a 24 hour boil alert will be in effect which means customers need to boil their drinking water vigorously before consuming.
