John Glenn 9 – Morgan 0
The Lady Muskies clinched their first MVL soccer championship with a 9-0 win over Morgan. That, and a 2-1 Maysville victory, gives John Glenn the league championship.
Tri-Valley 1 – Maysville 2
Maysville scored once in each half and held off a frantic charge from Tri-Valley to pick up a much-needed 2-1 victory. It’s the first time in school history Maysville has topped Tri-Valley on the pitch.

Doug Welker led the way for the Blue Devils. He notched two goals in the win.

The East District’s leading scorer added to his total, notching another hat trick in a big win over rival River View.

West Muskingum 24 25 25 25 15
West Muskingum earned a share of its first MVL title in 27 years, after narrowly pulling out a five-set win over Sheridan. Dakota and Dylana McKenzie continued their tear. The pair totaled 20 and 18 kills respectively. Abbi Brock added 32 assists.
Sheridan was paced by Kelly Rhodes, who recorded 19 digs. Bailey Lotozo had 16 digs to go along with ten kills. Jordan Gittings also had ten kills, to go along with seven digs.
Morgan 13 7 13
Maysville 25 25 25
Maysville ended regular season play with a resounding win over Morgan. Morgan Swauger recorded nine kills, along with three aces and three blocks. Karen Sidwell added nine kills, Taylor Tatman tossed in six kills and three digs.
Maysville (14-8, 12-4 in league) will play in the Sectional play-in game, Monday, against River View. The victor advances to take on Tri-Valley. Morgan, who resides in the same sectional, will open postseason play Tuesday against Dover.

The Lady Dawgs take care of their business on Senior Night in the Fish Tank. The four set win means that Tri-Valley finishes their MVL campaign with a 15-1 mark. Rachel King was the lead Dawg, with 20 assists, two kills, a block and two digs. Jordyn Hendershot contributing eight kills, an ace and 23 digs.
John Glenn was paced by Taylour Fatheree, who had ten kills, six blocks, and five digs. John Glenn finishing their MVL slate at a mark of 8-8, and will face West Holmes in the River View Sectional on Tuesday.
