James F. Roberts (January 27, 1933 – January 23, 2016)

NASHPORT
James F. Roberts 82 of Nashport passed away Saturday January 23, 2016 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. He was born January 27, 1933 in Zanesville a son of the late Francis and Jessie Geary Roberts. He was retired from Armco Steel, served his country and protected our freedoms in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War, and was a member of the American Legion.
James is survived by two sons Michael James Roberts of Zanesville and Jeffrey Allen Roberts of Cincinnati; two daughters Kelly Firth of Vermillion and Rhonda Moss of Millersport; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Lou Roberts who passed away on November 23, 2013 and one sister Marjory Allen.
Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8pm on Tuesday January 26, 2016 at THE SNOUFFERFUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11am Wednesday January 27, 2016 in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Joe Seese officiating. Entombment will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. Military honors by VFW Post 1058 Zanesville.
