Herbert Calvin BarBour Jr. (January 1, 1955 – February 5, 2016)

Herbert Calvin BarBour Jr. passed away on Friday February 5, 2016 at The Genesis Emergency Department. Herbert was born January 1, 1955 in Canton, Ohio he was a 1973 graduate of West Muskingum High School who served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the United States Air Force. Herbert went on to further serve our country by working for and retiring from the Department of Defense.
Herbert is survived by his loving wife; Carolyn Smith BarBour of the home, a son; Herbert Calvin BarBour III of Hopewell, two daughters; Susie (Shane) VanDusen of Zanesville and Debie (Dan) Cox of Zanesville. His mother; Elizabeth (Nelson) Phillips Joyce, of Navarre, Ohio two sisters; Beth (Jim) McKenzie and Amy (Jeff) Galloway both of Navarre, Ohio and thirteen grandchildren; Hillary (Andrei) Lupusoru, Ashton Dennison, Courtney, Cade , Hollee VanDusen, Amiera, Herbert IV, Mikayla BarBour, Jaymz, Katie Smith, Karlie and Kaycie Cox.
He is preceded in death by his father; Herbert Calvin BarBour Sr.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 6:00PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday February 11, 2016 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 West Military Road Zanesville, Ohio 43701. Funeral Services will be held on Friday February 12, 2016 at 11:00AM in the Snouffer Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chuck Norris officiating. Full Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post #1058 and American Legion Post #29.
