Robert Blumenstock (February 4, 1940 – March 7, 2016)

ZANESVILLE
Robert G. Blumenstock, 76 of Zanesville passed away Monday March 7, 2016 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. He was born February 4, 1940 in Arcanum, OH a son of the late Carl E. and Rosella Delaplane Blumenstock.
Robert worked in the X-Ray field as a Radiology Technologist from 1958 until his retirement in 2004. Sixteen of those years he served as the Director of the Radiology Dept. at Good Samaritan Hospital and was the owner of House of Physical Fitness in Zanesville and New Lexington.
He is survived by his wife Marie Fuhrer Blumenstock; one son Scott A. (Leanne) Blumenstock of Zanesville and one daughter Kimberley McNeish of Norwich; step-children Robert (Mallory) Fuhrer of Ashburn, VA and Brian (Diana) Fuhrer of Columbus, OH and Linda Bruning (Mac) of Sunbury, OH; one brother Dwaine M. Blumenstock (Betty Christian) of Rochester MN; two brother-in-laws Von Henninger of Greenville, OH and John Cole of Dayton, OH; two sisters Ruth (Don) Kepler of Pitsburgh, OH and Jean Wehr of Greenville, OH; grandchildren Zach and Taylor Blumenstock, Mallary Kovaleski and Haylee McNeish; step-grandchildren Jennifer and Michael Fuhrer, Hunter Bruning and Nicholas Fuhrer.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Phyllis A. Henninger and Mary Lou Cole.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday March 12, 2016 from 10am until time of services at 12 Noon at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD,ZANESVILLE, with Pastor Roger Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
