Laken T. Watton (April 18, 1991 – March 17, 2016)

Laken T. Massey Watton, 24, of Zanesville, died Thursday, March 17, 2016, at her home. She was born April 18, 1991, in Zanesville, a daughter of Misty Massey of Nashport and Kevin Stemm of Nashport. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her furry companion, Hershey. She was a loving and caring mother to her children.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Andrew D. Watton, whom she married March 21, 2013, of the home; her son Thomas Birch V of the home; her stepson Hayden Watton of the home; a sister Alexis (Adam) Johnson of Adamsville; two nieces, Sophie and Callie Johnson of Adamsville; her maternal grandparents, Roy and Sharon Massey of Zanesville; great grandmother Catherine Starcher of Zanesville; father-in-law and mother-in-law Rick and Molly Watton of Zanesville; and an aunt, uncle and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her son, Carson D. Watton, who died December 5, 2015.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral which will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Pastor Bob Besser officiating. She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
