Victims Identified In Double Fatal Shooting

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victims from a double fatal shooting on State Route 16 Monday near Pataskala. Dead are 33-year-old Brian Scott Kolesar and 75-year-old Charles Cheadle both from 8020 Pleasantville Road in Thornville. 35-year-old Julie Arnold also of 8020 Pleasantville Road is recovering from two gunshots wounds to the chest at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. Detectives says their investigation has revealed that Arnold and Kolesar had been involved in a troubled relationship. They were not married. Charles Cheadle was the father of Julie Arnold. Detectives are continuing the investigation to determine the sequence of events leading up to the incident and the manner in which the shootings occurred.
