Double Fatal Accident In Noble County
The Noble County Sheriff Office is investigating a double fatal accident. It happened Tuesday. Sheriff Stephen Hannum says his office received a call of a vehicle submerged in a pond on Tower Road in Buffalo Township around 8:00 a.m. The Sheriff says once emergency crews pulled the vehicle out of the water two bodies were discovered inside. Hannum identifies the victims as 43-year-old Jeffery Crock and 33-yerar-old Melissa Voorhies, both of Tower Road in Cumberland. The Sheriff says Voorhies is thought to be the driver of the vehicle which went off the left side of the road and overturned. Hannum says the vehicle is registered to Jack Hoopers of Tower Road. The incident remains under investigation.
