Dorothy J. Bailey (July 30, 1921 – February 20, 2012)

ZANESVILLE
Dorothy Jane Bailey, 90 of Zanesville passed away Monday February 20, 2012 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House. She was born July 30, 1921 in Zanesville a daughter of the late Arthur and Edith Withers Best. She was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church, Eastern Star Chapter #485 and was a homemaker.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband Howard Bailey; her children Gary (Gloria) Bailey and Karen Newsom and two grandsons Greg and Jacob.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Lewis Best and son-in-law William Newsom.
Calling hours will be held from 5-7pm Wednesday February 22, 2012 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 W. MILITARY RD. ZANESVILLE. Eastern Star services will be conducted at 4:30pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday February 23, 2012 in the Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Floyd Starr officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
