John Henry Woods (February 21, 1927 – March 16, 2012)

CROOKSVILLE
John Henry Woods, 85, of Crooksville passed away on Friday March 16, 2012 in Somerset.
John was born in Tennessee on February 21, 1927 to the late Plaz and Ada Albright Woods. John worked in Maintenance and served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the US Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie Lamb Woods of Crooksville, a son Jeffrey Woods of Buckeye Lake, two daughters: Linda (Melbourne) Peters of Somerset and Vernice (Robert) Muncy of Blacklick. 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Vernon Woods and a daughter Virginia Reasoner.
Calling hours will be from 12-2pm on Tuesday March 20 at THE CROOKSVILLE CHAPEL OF THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 207 BURLEY STREET CROOKSVILLE. Services will follow with Pastor Nancy Ellers officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Horeb Cemetery.
