Local Women Organization to Hold Holiday Auction

An organization in Zanesville will be holding its annual holiday auction this coming Friday.

It’s the Zanesville Business and Professional Women club, which is a community based outreach and networking group dedicated to helping women of the Zanesville area.

"The funds that are raised here at the event will go right back into the community. Some of them will go towards our Elliot Scholarship Fund, others we work with organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters and Transitions to support their projects through the year," said Public Relations Chair Tracy Rector.

The holiday auction will be helt at Bryan Place in downtown Zanesville with over 7,000 dollars worth of items up for auction made possible by donations from community businesses.

"Everything from game tickets to gift baskets, gift certificates, all kinds of things, it’s a great opportunity to get some Christmas shopping done early, many things to bid on, we have a silent auction as well as a live auction," said Rector.

The event will start at 4:30 with a buffet dinner for purchase and then the auction starting at 6:00. Tickets are 15 dollars for dinner. To reserve your spot, you can call 740-586-1712.
