Set Your Clocks Back an Hour on Sunday

Daylight Saving Time is coming to an end, which means it’s almost time to move the clocks back an hour.

WHIZ caught up with shoppers at the Colony Square Mall in Zanesville to see how people remember to change their clocks and what they plan to do with the extra hour.  Patrick Pugh said he’s looking forward to it.

"Some people think you can’t catch up on lost sleep during the week, but I definitely do that," said Pugh.

Pugh said his smartphone updates the time automatically, but he sets the rest of his clocks the night before.  Phyllis Gheen said her friend usually calls to remind her.  She’s retired, so she doesn’t need to set an alarm to go to work, but she still enjoys the extra hour.

"On Sundays, it’s really nice, because I can sleep in an hour later before it’s time to get up and go to church services, so I like that," said Gheen.

Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 AM on Sunday.  If you mix up when to change the clocks – just remember "spring forward, fall back".
