Betty L. Snyder, 85, Zanesville, passed away at 8:55 pm Friday, October 4, 2013 at Cedar Hill Care Center, Zanesville.

Betty was born January 19, 1928 in Zanesville the daughter of the late George and Permelia (Klinehoffer) Evans. She was a homemaker and enjoyed bowling, gardening and cooking.

Betty is survived by her children Harold (Diana) Snyder Jr. of Zanesville; Wanda (Don) Lindimore of Zanesville and Barb (Tony) Spangler of South Zanesville; her brothers Larry (Genny) Evans of Zanesville, Jerry (Martha) Evans of AL, Lewis (Mary) Evans of Zanesville and Nelson (Etta) Evans of Philo; her sisters Bonnie (Paul) Yost of Thornville and Dixie Mills of Zanesville; 5 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 step-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband Harold G. Snyder who passed away March 15, 2004; her brothers George, Lloyd, Albert, Paul and Herbert Evans and her sister Mildred Evans.

Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Monday October 7, 2013 at the Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 11 am Tuesday with Pastor Aaron Bounds officiating. Burial will follow in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
