Alice R. Baldwin (August 10, 1942 – October 29, 2013)

ZANESVILLE
Pastor Alice Ruth Baldwin, 71, of Zanesville passed away October 29, 2013 at Willow Haven Nursing Home, surrounded by family. She was born August 10, 1942 in Calhoun County, WV, a daughter of the late Clarence and Ruby Wayne Cottrell.
Alice worked as a school teacher at Newark Rd. Christian Academy as well as home schooling. Her true calling in life was to serve as a pastor. She served Welsh Hills Baptist Church in Granville, Coburn, Philo, Cannelville and Euclid United Methodist Churches. At Euclid UMC she was dedicated to the Club Jesus Fellowship.
Alice is survived by two sons Matthew (Kim) Baldwin and Philip Richard Gill both of Zanesville; one daughter Lori Grant of Chesapeake, VA; one brother Donald (Rose) Cottrell of Roseville; two sisters Dorothy Dollings of East Fultonham and Nora (Glenford) Bash of Zanesville; six grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Clarence Cottrell Jr. and one sister Nelma Higgins.
Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 on Friday November 1, 2013 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday November 2, 2013 in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Joe Dunlap officiating. Burial will follow in Stovertown Cemetery.
