Voters Say No to Issue Two

State Issue Two has been defeated.

That means the law limiting the collective bargaining rights for around 350,000 unionized public workers has been repealed.

It has not yet taken effect and current union rules will stand.

Opponents of the law said the union limits threatened public safety with little proof of cost savings.
