Virginia Dare Dunmead Watson (May 14, 1929 – August 11, 2014)

ZANESVILLE

Virginia Dare Dunmead Watson 85, of Zanesville passed away peacefully on Monday August 11, 2014. She was born in Zanesville on May 14, 1929 to the late Lloyd and Dollie Huffman Dunmead. She was a homemaker and worked at LePere Pottery for many years. Ginny was an unconditional loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Her passion for cooking and baking became infamous to family and friends. Surrounded by music, laughter, and cheer, merely strengthened her jovial and nurturing spirit.
She is survived by her children: Rick (Christy) Watson of Zanesville, Donald Watson of New Philadelphia, Bobby (Valerie) Watson of Sonora, Becky (Dave) Boothe of Nashport, David Watson of Zanesville, and Cathy (Neil) Greiner of Ft. Worth, Texas. A brother Donald (Barbara) Dunmead of Zanesville. 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, countless nieces, nephews, cousins and a very dear friend Sue Lecrone and family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband whom she married November 25, 1948, and her eldest son William Lloyd (Sheila) Watson.
Her children will receive family and friends from 12-2pm on Thursday August 14 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm with Pastor Doug Winners officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery in Sonora.
