Area Man Pleads Not Guilty In Home Invasion

A Nashport man appears in court today to answer to charges in connection with a home invasion last month on Old River Road. The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office says that 29-year-old Chaise Michael King is facing kidnapping, aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and theft charges. Sheriff Matt Lutz says King is one of three men who broke into a home at 3235 Old River Road on October 25th, tied up a woman inside and committed theft. Lutz says King is the only person that has been charged so far in this case. King Wednesday pled not guilty and Judge Mark Fleegle continued his bond at $250,000.
