Jack Ray Lutz (March 2, 1932 – January 9, 2015)

Jack Ray Lutz, 82 of Zanesville, passed away Friday January 9, 2015, at Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care Morrison House. He was born in Zanesville on March 2, 1932 a son of the late Samuel Gotleib and Beulah Edith Marie Harrnish Lutz. He worked as a machinery operator for Muskingum Iron and Metal, was a member of the American Legion and a lifelong member of the Salt Creek Beagle Club. Jack served his country and protected our freedoms in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his two daughters Heather Lutz of Columbus, OH and Holly Toole and her husband Andrew of Carroll, OH; two grandsons Lucas and Nicholas Toole and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Barbara Ann Fowler Lutz who passed away on September 25, 2011; one son Robin Scott Lutz; one brother Charles Lutz and one sister Rose Totton Lenhart.
Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 on Tuesday January 13, 2015 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE, OH. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday January 14, 2015 in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Herb Perry officiating. Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
